So many accomplished artists across all disciplines have moved to this region from all over the US, especially during and since the pandemic. One of those is jazz bassoonist Michael Rabinowitz. Even before formally moving into a new house in Marshall, NC, he’d already begun gigging here. But that’s just as he’s waged his entire career in jazz—move somewhere, jump into the scene and become a first-call player.
